Origin / Our point of departure

A new time.
The same human spark.

Times change. New possibilities still begin between people. HUUC seeks to create the reasons and opportunities for those encounters.

From the salon to NEO SALON

Our origin

In the salons of the past, ideas in literature, art, philosophy and science met in conversation. Stories exchanged could become new works and new ways of thinking.

At the centre were people who brought others together and made room for conversation. Their role is where our thinking begins.

From the Salon to NEO SALON.

SALON

It started with a conversation.

A visual concept connecting a warmly lit historic salon to a contemporary cultural space

Through time

Across time, the reason to meet remains.

A generated concept of a contemporary gathering where people meet around performance, culture and brands

NEO SALON

A place for conversation, culture and new possibilities.

A passage through timeContinue the story

The value of conversation

More possibilities.
More reasons to meet.

We can create more, faster than ever. Yet time spent face to face, sharing what we think, does not grow on its own.

We believe this makes asking what to create, why it matters and who to create it with even more important. HUUC seeks to give those conversations a starting point: shared questions, cultural experiences and a place to meet.

REAL

Something real
to share.

Our experiences. Our tastes. Our own ways of seeing the world. For HUUC, REAL means people with a story to share and a willingness to listen to someone else’s.

We look across disciplines and cultures for artists, creators and the people behind brands who have something to share. By bringing different perspectives together, we hope to uncover possibilities none of us would find alone.

NEO SALON

Let possibilities
grow.

HUUC imagines NEO SALON as an environment where possibilities can grow beyond a first encounter. We seek to make room for people to meet again, develop their ideas and take the next step into shared creation and collaboration.

Not every conversation needs an immediate outcome. Understanding someone and seeing things differently can be a meaningful beginning.
